What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special link to a product on another website, such as an online store. If you click it and buy something, the store may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the store directly.
Where we use affiliate links
- On our yoga shop page.
- In some guides, where a product is genuinely useful for the practice being described, such as a mat, block, strap or book.
Pages with affiliate links carry a short note near the top or next to the links. Affiliate links on our site are marked in the code with rel="sponsored", as search engines ask.
Affiliate networks and stores
We join affiliate programmes through networks such as INRDeals, and directly with some stores and brands. Our links currently include stores such as Amazon India, Krishna's Herbal & Ayurveda, Zandu Care (Emami), Truemeds, Kerala Ayurveda, Kapiva and Gharsoaps. These links usually start with inr.deals and pass through the network to the store, so that the store knows the visit came from us.
As an Amazon Associate, Yoga Management earns from qualifying purchases. Some Amazon links may start with amzn.urlvia.com.
Prices, stock, delivery, returns and product claims are the responsibility of the store, not of Yoga Management. Always check the details on the store's page before you buy.
How we choose what to recommend
- We recommend products because they are useful, good value and safe for home practice, not because of the commission.
- Commissions never decide what our guides say about yoga, health or safety.
- We do not accept payment to say good things about a product.
- If we would not suggest a product to our own readers, we do not list it.
Paid listings are different
Yoga centers can pay for a listing on our city pages through our listing plans. Listings are clearly shown as center listings, and we confirm their details before publishing. A paid listing is not a recommendation or endorsement of the center's teaching. See our disclaimer.
